UCEV girls hostel is identified to grow the plants through Department of Horticulture, Government of Tamil nadu with subsidy. The plantation programme was inaugurated at University College of Engineering Villupuram girls hostel on 12/01/2023 by Dr.R.Senthil, Professor & Dean, Dr.K.Venkatesan, Asst. Director, Department of Horticulture, Dr.V.Gnanamoorthi, Executive Warden, Dr.M.Phemina Selvi and Dr.R.Regan, Deputy Wardens were present.
